1. Who is responsible?
Birthday Reminder is published by Dassonville.biz. Privacy questions can be sent to info@dassonville.biz.
2. Data used by the app
The app may use names, preferred first names, telephone numbers, birthday day and month, contact photos, selected languages, birthday messages, favorites, reminder settings and local history. These details are stored locally on your device.
3. Contact access
When you choose to import a contact, the app asks for access to contacts. The access is used to show contacts for selection and to copy the selected details into Birthday Reminder. Contact details are not sent to Dassonville.biz or to a Dassonville.biz server.
4. Notifications
The app can create local birthday notifications. Notification scheduling and delivery take place on your device through Android.
5. WhatsApp
When you tap the WhatsApp button, Birthday Reminder opens an external WhatsApp link with a prepared message. You decide whether to send it. Birthday Reminder never sends a message automatically. WhatsApp processes data under its own terms and privacy policy.
6. Backup and restore
A backup is created only when you request it. Android lets you choose the destination, such as local storage, Google Drive or another storage provider. Dassonville.biz does not receive, access or manage these backup files. The selected provider applies its own terms and privacy policy.
7. Advertising and analytics
The current release candidate contains no advertising SDK, analytics SDK or behavioral tracking.
8. Data sharing
Dassonville.biz does not sell your data and does not share your contact or birthday data. Transfers initiated by you, such as opening WhatsApp or saving a backup to a chosen provider, are controlled by you.
9. Retention and deletion
Local data remains on your device until you delete a contact, replace the data through restore, clear the app data or uninstall the app. Backup files remain until you delete them from the location you selected.
10. Security
Local information is protected by the security features of your Android device. Security of external backup locations depends on the provider you select. No storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
11. Children
Birthday Reminder is intended for a general audience and is not specifically directed to children under 13. The app does not create user accounts or knowingly collect data from children on a Dassonville.biz server.
12. Changes
This policy may be updated when the app or applicable requirements change. The latest version will be published on this page.
